A Praise and Worship Survey

This analysis is from a book; The Worship Leader's Handbook. I wish to do a survey for the Congregational Members.

Part A is designed as a personal analysis of the Sunday morning worship time. It should be understood that there are no right or wrong answers. Your answers, although they may be strongly held opinions, are only opinions.

Part A

1. Do you think we:
a. do too many slow songs.
b. do too many fast songs.
c. have an acceptable balance of slow and fast songs.

2. Do you think we:
a. learn too many new songs.
b. do not learn enough new songs.
c. learn just enough new songs.

3. Do you think the music of the songs we use is overall:
a. too simple to be challenging.
b. too difficult to sing.
c. not too difficult but not too easy.

4. do you think the lyrics of the songs we use are overall:
a. too simple to be challenging.
b. too difficult to sing.
c. not too difficult but not too easy.

5. Do you think the style of music being used is:
a. too contamporary.
b. too traditional.
c. about right.

7. How do you feel about the overall Sunday morning worship experience?
a. bouring
b. satisfying
c. ___________________________

Part B is design to add insights to the answer given in Part A. These questions, although they may be uncomfortable, should be answered as candidly as possible. (Please note that answers to Part A will not be tabulated if Part B is not completed).

Part B

1. When you arrive on Sunday morning are you fully prepared to worship the Lord:
a. all the time.
b. some of the time.
c. very seldom.

2. Do you:
a. enter into worship freelly.
b. prefer to sit and watch others worchip.
c. ignore worship and think about other matters.

3. Do you:
a. freely express your worship to the Lord.
b. need to be coaxed along in worship.
c.wait to be compelled to worship God.

4. Do you worship the Lord on your own during the weeeks?
a. often.
b. occasionally.
c. seldom.

5. Do you harbor negative attitudes toward your brothers and sisters in the Lord in the service?

6. Do you feel that you could do a better job of leading worship on a consistent basis?
